1. Introduction

At LinkerRx, we're committed to transparency about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains our practices and outlines your rights regarding your information.

We recommend that you read this Privacy Policy in full to ensure you are fully informed. However, if you only want to access a particular section of this Privacy Policy, you can use the table of contents below to jump to that section.

2. What Does LinkerRx Do?

LinkerRx is your launchpad to share your latest video, article, recipe, tour, store, website, social post, and other content. Our platform helps you connect your audience to all your online destinations, making your content more discoverable, easier to manage, and capable of driving revenue. LinkerRx also enables you to customize, monetize, and analyze your bio link page.

This Privacy Policy applies to our website (located at https://linkerrx.com), mobile app, and related software or features (collectively referred to as our "Platform"). The Platform allows individuals and businesses to sign up to create a personalized, easily-customizable page, monetize their content, and gain valuable audience insights.

In this Privacy Policy, we collectively refer to the Platform and our related services as the "LinkerRx Services". The pages that LinkerRx Users are able to create using the LinkerRx Services are referred to as "User Profiles." User Profiles are accessible by the public.

3. How Does This Privacy Policy Apply to Me?

This Privacy Policy only applies to personal information we collect as a controller about:

  • Individuals who visit and interact with the LinkerRx Services or User Profiles;
  • Individuals that sign up to use our LinkerRx Services via a free or paid plan;
  • Individuals who follow, subscribe to, purchase from, and/or message other LinkerRx Users;
  • Individuals who respond to our surveys, marketing materials or participate in promotions or competitions that we may run from time to time.

In this Privacy Policy, we refer to all of the above individuals collectively as "LinkerRx Users."

This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal information by LinkerRx as a controller. When we talk about LinkerRx acting as a "controller", we mean that LinkerRx determines the purpose and the means of the processing (i.e., we make decisions about why and how we handle your personal information).

If you provide us with information about another person (if, for example, you are a representative of an individual), you must provide them with a copy of this Privacy Policy and let that other person know that we use their personal information in the ways set out in this Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party Processing and Responsibilities

LinkerRx enables connections between LinkerRx Users and third parties, such as brands, advertisers, social platforms, and affiliate partners. Once you interact with a third party—such as by clicking a link, subscribing to a brand's updates, or making a purchase through a third-party link—LinkerRx does not control how your personal information is processed by that third party.

We strongly recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third parties you interact with via LinkerRx. If you have concerns about how a third party handles your personal information, please contact that third party directly.

However, we will normally collect personal information from you only where we have your consent to do so, where we need the personal information to perform a contract with you, or where the processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.

If we ask you to provide personal information to comply with a legal requirement or to perform a contract with you, we will make this clear at the relevant time and advise you whether the provision of your personal information is mandatory or not (as well as of the possible consequences if you do not provide your personal information).

  • To any competent law enforcement body, regulatory, government agency, court or other third party where we believe disclosure is necessary (i) as a matter of applicable law or regulation, (ii) to exercise, establish or defend our legal rights, or (iii) to protect your vital interests or those of any other person.
  • To a potential buyer (and its agents and advisers) in connection with any proposed purchase, merger or acquisition of any part of our business, provided that we inform the buyer it must use your personal information only for the purposes disclosed in this Privacy Policy.

9. How Do We Use Cookies and Similar Tracking Technology?

We use cookies and similar tracking technology (collectively, "Cookies") to collect and use personal information about you. For further information about the types of Cookies we use, why, and how you can control Cookies, please see our Cookie Policy.

10. How Long Do We Retain Your Personal Information?

We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

11. How Do We Secure Your Personal Information?

We take the security of your data seriously. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information that we collect and process about you. The measures we use are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risk of processing your personal information.

However, please note that no Internet transmission can ever be guaranteed 100% secure, and so we encourage you to take care when disclosing personal information online and to use readily available tools, such as Internet firewalls, secure e-mail, and similar technologies to protect yourself online.

We respond to all requests we receive from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
